The phrase “Growthhacker” was coined by Sean Ellis in 2010. Sean’s post described, “A growth hacker is a person whose true north is growth. "Hence Growth Hacking is marketing technique developed originally by technology start-ups which uses creativity, analytical thinking, and social metrics to sell products and gain exposure.
